Do visitors need to download an app?
No. Visitors scan the QR code on a pillar with their phone camera and the map opens in the browser in about a second. Nothing to install, no sign-up, no login.
Which phones does it work on?
Any reasonably recent Android phone or iPhone with a camera and a browser — Chrome, Safari, Samsung Internet and others. Live compass navigation uses the phone's motion sensors where available and falls back gracefully where they aren't.
What if there is no mobile signal in the basement?
The map and route are delivered in the first scan — a few hundred kilobytes of vector data — so once loaded, they keep working even if the signal drops. From your floor plans we also suggest QR placement near lift lobbies and ramps, where signal is usually best.
Do we need BLE beacons?
No. QR codes plus compass and step counting cover most properties. Beacons are an optional upgrade (Enterprise) for a live “blue dot” with exact position — useful for very large or complex sites. We plan the beacon layout for you.
What visitor data do you collect?
No personal data. Analytics are anonymous — which QR was scanned, which route was requested, whether the visitor arrived, device type and time of day. No names, phone numbers, location history or tracking across sites.
How long does it take to go live?
Typically 7 days, all done remotely. Day 1 you share your floor plans (CAD, PDF or phone photos of each level), by Day 3 the map is ready for your review in the console, by Day 5 print-ready QR signs reach you with a placement guide for your facility team, and on Day 7 you are live.
Can we use our own branding?
Yes. On Growth and Enterprise the visitor experience carries your logo and brand colour on your own link, and Enterprise can run on your own domain (e.g. parking.yourmall.com).
What happens after the 14-day free trial?
If visitors and your team love it, you move to a monthly plan. If not, just tell us — there is no lock-in. Any one-time setup & mapping cost is agreed with you in writing before we start, so there are no surprises.
